Jesus ich wuensche mir Glueck beim Angeln is the second part of our triology about home. Halt Dich am Zaun der Himmel ist hoch (FFT 2011) investigates the notion of home in relation to a specific geographic location. Today, home is defined by global networks that suspend geographic distances and specificities. Three characters embark on a journey. Their route takes them through the detritus of recent decades. A landscape of obsolete technologies extends to the horizon, illuminated by the shimmering light of hundreds of picture tubes and animated by the monotonous humming of out-dated household appliances. In-between the stacks of out-dated domestic infra-structure lead paths into an uncertain future.
