We have been working with Camden Council’s overcrowding team for six years to devise a strategy that would help overcrowded families by adapting or extending their homes. Three micro-extensions with green roofs that are carefully designed to suit their dense urban context are progressing on site in various parts of the borough. Once complete, the small buildings will provide additional living space to allow overcrowded families to remain in their existing home. Sustainability is achieved by careful adaptation and extension rather than demolition and re-building.

Peter Pan wins award at the Jugendtheatertreffen in Cologne. The Jury writes “We were impressed by the stage set. With fantasy a lamp became a totem pole, a sofa and a grandfather clock became a crocodile, drum sticks weapons and nighties became nappies. A mirror creating a window to phantasy and the audience participates.. [...] Peter Pan is a performance that enchants and addresses the audience and invites for reflection and remembering childhood and the future”. Click here for link to Jugendtheaterwettbewerb website.Peter Pan is is running Theater an der Ruhr until the end of the 2011/2012 season. Click here for tickets.
